4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Week
Objective
Build solid foundation while targeting 2-3% profit. Focus on protecting capital and establishing rhythm with the 4% daily loss limit. Remember, you need minimum 5 trading days, so pace yourself.
Position Sizing
Keep position sizes small - risk maximum 1% per trade. With the 4% daily loss limit, this gives you 4 attempts max per day before you must stop. Your goal is consistency, not home runs.
Mindset
This is a marathon, not a sprint. Top One Trader has unlimited time, so use that advantage. Focus on process over profits. Every trade should have a clear plan with defined risk.
If Ahead
If you hit 2-3% by week's end, reduce risk even further. You're ahead of schedule for the 10% target. Lock in this progress and don't get overconfident.
If Behind
If flat or slightly negative, don't panic. You have unlimited time. Review your trades, identify what's working, and stay patient. Never chase losses with bigger size.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Target 4-6% cumulative profit. Start building momentum while respecting the 7% max total drawdown. You're looking to be halfway to your 10% Phase 1 target.
Position Sizing
Maintain 1% risk per trade, but consider slightly larger positions on your highest conviction setups. Never exceed 1.5% risk per trade. Remember the 15% consistency rule - avoid any single day being more than 15% of your total profits.
Mindset
You're building a track record. Each trading day counts toward your minimum 5 days requirement. Focus on steady, consistent gains rather than explosive days that violate the consistency rule.
If Ahead
If above 6%, start thinking about capital preservation. You're well positioned for Phase 1 completion. Reduce daily profit targets and focus on not giving back gains.
If Behind
If under 3% total, assess your strategy. Are you being too conservative? Consider slightly more aggressive position sizing on your best setups, but never compromise risk management.
Week 3Target Approach
Objective
Reach 7-9% cumulative profit. You're approaching the 10% Phase 1 target. Start preparing mentally for the transition to Phase 2's 5% target and different mindset.
Position Sizing
Be more selective with trades. Risk 0.5-1% per trade on only the highest probability setups. With the 15% consistency rule in mind, no single day should contribute more than 1.5% if you're targeting 10% total.
Mindset
You're in the final stretch of Phase 1. Protect what you've built while steadily moving toward the 10% target. Start studying Phase 2 requirements - 5% target with same risk parameters.
If Ahead
If at 8-9%, consider taking only the most obvious trades. You're almost there. Don't get greedy and blow up this close to the finish line.
If Behind
If under 5% total, you need to be more decisive. Focus on your best trading times and setups. Consider extending trading hours slightly, but never compromise your risk rules.
Week 4Phase Completion
Objective
Secure the 10% Phase 1 target and prepare for Phase 2. Focus on crossing the finish line professionally, then immediately shift to Phase 2 mindset with its 5% target.
Position Sizing
Once you hit 10%, immediately shift to Phase 2 sizing. For Phase 2, risk even less - maximum 0.5% per trade. The 5% target requires patience and precision, not aggression.
Mindset
You're a finisher. Complete Phase 1 with confidence, then reset completely for Phase 2. Phase 2 is about proving consistency with a lower target. Same rules apply: 4% daily loss, 7% total loss, but now you only need 5% profit.
If Ahead
If you complete Phase 1 early, immediately begin Phase 2 with small, conservative trades. Use any remaining week to build early Phase 2 momentum with 0.5% risk trades.
If Behind
If still chasing 10%, stay disciplined. Don't blow up in the final stretch. Take your best setups with proper 1% risk. Remember, you have unlimited time - better to take an extra week than fail at 8% because you got desperate.
