4-Week Strategy Framework
Week 1Foundation Week
Objective
Establish consistent execution and capture 1-2% profit while never risking more than 1.5% daily. This gives you breathing room within FundedX's 3% daily limit while building confidence.
Position Sizing
Risk 0.8-1.2% per trade maximum. With the 4% total drawdown limit, you can afford 2-3 losing trades if sized properly. Keep position sizes small - you're learning the account behavior.
Mindset
Patience is your weapon. You have 7 days total, so don't rush. Focus on high-probability setups only. Every trade should have a clear reason and risk management plan before entry.
If Ahead
If you hit 1.5-2% profit, reduce risk to 0.5% per trade. You're ahead of schedule and should protect gains. Consider taking smaller positions or being more selective with entries.
If Behind
If you're down 1-2%, don't panic - you're still well within the 4% total limit. Stick to your 1% risk per trade rule. Do NOT increase size to 'catch up' - that's how accounts blow up.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Push toward 3-4% total profit while maintaining strict daily risk limits. Never risk more than 1.8% in a single day, keeping you comfortably under FundedX's 3% daily maximum.
Position Sizing
Increase to 1-1.5% risk per trade if you're profitable from week 1. If you're still recovering losses, stick to 0.8% risk. Remember - one bad day at 3% daily loss could end your challenge.
Mindset
Consistency over home runs. You don't need perfect trades, just more winners than losers. Stay mechanical with your process and don't let emotions drive decisions.
If Ahead
At 3-4% profit, you're in the driver's seat. Scale back to 0.8% risk per trade and focus on capital preservation. The 5% target is within reach - don't get greedy.
If Behind
If still negative, increase focus on trade quality, not quantity. You have time left. Better to take 2 great trades than 5 mediocre ones. Stay within your daily 1.8% risk limit regardless of pressure.
Week 3Target Approach
Objective
Reach or exceed the 5% profit target while never compromising the 3% daily loss or 4% total drawdown rules. This is where discipline separates winners from losers.
Position Sizing
If close to target, reduce risk to 0.5% per trade. If you need 2-3% more, maintain 1.2% risk but be extra selective. Calculate exactly how much you need and don't overtrade.
Mindset
The finish line is visible but don't sprint into a wall. Many traders fail here by getting overconfident or desperate. Stick to what got you this far.
If Ahead
If you've hit 5%+ profit, congratulations but don't celebrate yet. Reduce risk to 0.3% per trade and focus purely on not giving back gains. Trade only A+ setups.
If Behind
If you need 3%+ still, increase trade frequency slightly but NOT position size. Look for more opportunities while keeping risk per trade at 1.2% maximum. Quality over quantity still applies.
Week 4Challenge Completion
Objective
Secure the pass by maintaining profits above 5% or making the final push if needed. Protect your account from any scenario that could trigger the 3% daily or 4% total loss limits.
Position Sizing
If profitable above 5%, risk only 0.2-0.3% per trade for capital preservation. If you need significant gains, maximum 1.5% risk per trade, but be extremely selective - only trade perfect setups.
Mindset
This is about crossing the finish line, not setting records. If you're above 5%, your job is to not lose it. If you're behind, controlled aggression with perfect risk management is key.
If Ahead
Above 5% profit means you've essentially won. Take minimal risk, maybe 0.2% per trade on only the most obvious setups. Focus on keeping what you've earned rather than maximizing gains.
If Behind
If you need significant gains on the final days, this is where mental toughness matters. Stick to 1.5% maximum risk per trade regardless of pressure. Better to fail with discipline than blow up the account trying to force it.
