4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Phase
Objective
Focus on capital preservation and establishing rhythm. Target 1-2% profit while staying well within the 5% maximum loss limit. Complete the minimum 3 trading days requirement early.
Position Sizing
Risk no more than 0.5% per trade. With no daily loss limits, you can take multiple positions but keep total exposure under 1.5% at any time. This gives you room for 10+ losing trades before hitting trouble.
Mindset
Think like a sniper, not a machine gunner. CTI's unlimited time is your biggest advantage - there's zero rush. Every trade should have clear logic and defined risk. Your only job is to not lose 5%.
If Ahead
If you hit 2%+ profit, reduce risk to 0.3% per trade. You're ahead of schedule, so protect what you've built. Consider taking a day or two break to reset mentally.
If Behind
Red days happen - don't panic. As long as you're above -2%, you're still in great shape. Stick to your 0.5% risk per trade. Review your trades for lessons but don't overtrade to 'catch up'.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Build on week 1's foundation. Target 3-4% total profit by end of week. Focus on quality setups and maintaining the discipline established in week 1.
Position Sizing
If profitable from week 1, maintain 0.5% risk per trade. If you're sitting on 2%+ profit, you can afford to be slightly more aggressive at 0.7% per trade, but never exceed 2% total daily exposure.
Mindset
You're playing with house money if profitable. The 8% target is achievable but secondary to protecting your account. CTI's no-consistency rule means you can have losing days without penalty - use this freedom wisely.
If Ahead
If you're at 4%+ profit, you're halfway home. Consider reducing to 0.3% per trade and focus purely on capital preservation. You have unlimited time to grind out the remaining 4%.
If Behind
If you're break-even or slightly down, stay calm. You still have 5% of buffer and unlimited time. Don't increase position size - instead, focus on trade quality and patience.
Week 3Acceleration Phase
Objective
Push towards 5-6% total profit. This is your sweet spot - close enough to see the finish line but with enough buffer to handle volatility. Increase trading frequency if finding good setups.
Position Sizing
With 3+ weeks of data on your performance, adjust sizing based on your win rate. If consistently profitable, you can risk 0.7% per trade. If choppy, drop back to 0.5%. Never risk more than 2.5% in combined positions.
Mindset
The finish line is in sight, but this is where many traders get reckless. Stick to your process. The beauty of CTI's structure is no time pressure - you can take another month if needed.
If Ahead
If you hit 6%+ profit, shift into ultra-conservative mode. Risk only 0.2-0.3% per trade. You only need 2% more and have unlimited time to get it. Don't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
If Behind
If you're still under 2% profit, don't panic. You have at least 3% of drawdown buffer and unlimited time. Maintain 0.5% risk per trade and focus on finding your rhythm.
Week 4Completion Phase
Objective
Cross the 8% finish line. If you're close (6-7%), trade ultra-conservatively to grind out the final percent. If you're behind, maintain discipline - you have unlimited time.
Position Sizing
If within 2% of target: risk only 0.2% per trade and focus on high-probability setups. If you need 4%+: stick to 0.5% per trade but be more selective. Never risk more than 1% in a single position during this phase.
Mindset
This is the final exam. Every trade matters, but overtrading kills accounts. If you're close, think 'singles and doubles, not home runs.' If you're behind, remember you have unlimited time - there's no shame in taking longer to pass.
If Ahead
If you hit 8%+, congratulations! Stop trading immediately and submit for evaluation. Don't risk giving back profits for no reason. You've proven you can do this.
If Behind
If you're not close to 8%, extend your timeline. Take a few days break, review your best trades, and start a new 4-week cycle with the same framework. The account doesn't expire - use that advantage.
