4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Week
Objective
Establish rhythm and protect capital. Target 2-3% profit while learning the platform and your edge. Remember, you have unlimited time - there's no rush to hit that 10% target in Phase 1.
Position Sizing
Risk maximum 1% per trade, never more than 2% total exposure at once. With Alpha's 4% daily loss limit, this gives you multiple attempts to find your groove without approaching danger zones.
Mindset
Think like a sniper, not a machine gunner. You're building confidence and data about what works in this environment. The 6% total drawdown limit means every trade matters, but you have breathing room.
If Ahead
If you're up 2-4% by week's end, excellent. Maintain the same approach - don't get cocky and increase size. The target is 10%, not 20%.
If Behind
Down 1-2%? Completely normal. Review your trades, tighten your setups, but don't change your risk parameters. Remember - unlimited time means this drawdown is temporary data, not a death sentence.
Week 2Consistency Building
Objective
Aim for 3-4% additional profit through consistent execution. You should be targeting 5-7% total by end of week 2. Focus on your highest probability setups only.
Position Sizing
Stick with 1% risk per trade, but you can consider 2.5% total exposure if you have uncorrelated setups. Never risk more than 3% in a single day - well below Alpha's 4% limit.
Mindset
You're not trading to prove you're smart - you're trading to pass. Boring and profitable beats exciting and broke. That 10% target is achievable through singles, not home runs.
If Ahead
If you're at 6-8% profit, you're ahead of schedule. Consider reducing risk to 0.75% per trade. You only need 2-4% more to hit Phase 1 target.
If Behind
At 1-3% profit or small loss? Stay disciplined. Many traders blow accounts trying to 'catch up' when they're actually on track. Your edge needs time to play out.
Week 3Target Approach
Objective
Push toward that 10% Phase 1 target. If you're at 6-8%, you need 2-4% more. Take only A+ setups and manage each trade like your account depends on it - because it does.
Position Sizing
If you're close to target (7-9% profit), reduce risk to 0.5-0.75% per trade. If you're behind (3-5% profit), maintain 1% risk but be more selective. Never chase - Alpha's rules reward patience.
Mindset
The finish line is in sight, but this is where most traders sabotage themselves. Stick to your process. That 4% daily loss limit can wipe out weeks of work in one emotional session.
If Ahead
At 8-9% profit? Consider taking a few days off or trading micro positions. Protect what you've built. Getting to 10.5-11% then pulling back is much better than shooting for 15% and hitting the 6% drawdown limit.
If Behind
At 4-6% profit? You have time - use it. Don't abandon your process for low-probability, high-risk trades. The unlimited time limit is your biggest advantage.
Week 4Phase Completion
Objective
Cross the 10% finish line and prepare for Phase 2's 5% target. If you haven't hit 10% yet, continue patient execution. If you have, maintain profits and study Phase 2 requirements.
Position Sizing
If at target: Trade micro positions (0.25% risk) or take time off. If still building: Maximum 1% risk per trade, focus on your absolute best setups only.
Mindset
You're in the final stretch. Every trader who failed Alpha's challenge had the same opportunity you have right now. The difference is discipline and patience. Don't let excitement or frustration derail weeks of solid work.
If Ahead
Congratulations on hitting 10%+ - now protect it. Trade small or step away until you're mentally ready for Phase 2. The 5% Phase 2 target is easier, but the pressure is different.
If Behind
Still building toward 10%? That's fine - unlimited time means you control the pace. Don't force trades. Your edge plus patience equals success. Many profitable traders take 6-8 weeks for Phase 1, and they sleep better at night.
